My name is Danae Giannakopoulou an I am a person-centered mental health counselor.
I deeply believe that every individual holds within them the power to change and grow in the direction they desire. In the therapeutic process, we create a safe space filled with acceptance, understanding, and authenticity, where each person can freely express themselves, process their emotions, and discover aspects of their true self.
My approach is rooted in the person-centered philosophy, which views the individual as the expert of their own life. It focuses on the innate abilities of each person to care for themselves, even in the most challenging circumstances. With complete acceptance, empathy, and active listening, my goal is to support every individual in flourishing and living authentically.
I specialize in supporting adults with issues such as anxiety management, emotional conflicts, emotional intensity, and relationship difficulties. Every person seeking support is treated with respect and care as they explore ways to navigate life’s challenges and find balance and connection within themselves.
Sessions can take place either in person or online, offering flexibility and adaptability to meet individual needs.
